 "Ginger Zee took to social media on Nov. 5 to discuss the merits of shopping her closet instead of buying new clothes, but fans were more focused on her outfit than her message.

The Good Morning America meteorologist shared two photos and a video of herself on the set of the morning show alongside a long message about how she chooses what to wear while on television.

She shared that she hasn’t bought new clothing in almost two and a half years, focusing instead on wearing clothing she already has in her closet, though she admitted to occasionally renting clothing from brands like Rent the Runway.

“I love fashion, it’s important, but at this moment the pause has taught me a lot about the psychology of consumption and it’s so empowering. Circular economy is possible for so many parts of life,” the GMA star said."
